Abbey, we love you so much! You are our little rose amongst the thorns. :) I love to see your cute little personality coming out in so many different ways. Your smile brightens my day, and your sweetest little pouty lip breaks my heart! You are my blessing, and I am thankful to be your mama. Thank you for completing my life! I love you baby, and hope you have a Happy Birthday!

Abbey's Birthday
Today is Abigayle's Birthday! It is her first birthday that she gets to share with her Grandma Gayle! We are so excited! Last Sunday we had her birthday dinner with Sheri and Missi at their house. They got an absolutely gorgeous cake, and Abbey just loved it! I always love watching them the first time they have cake, it's so cute. She has been the special little princess today (like every other day!). She has been wearing her princess hat and carrying her magic wand everywhere today. Tonight we are planning on going to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Tensmeyer and Jodi and Mark. We have had a great day!

She was a little unsure about what to do at first, so for a while she picked at her cake with her thumb and pointer finger!
As you can see, she learned quickly how fun it is to make a mess!

Parker's Birthday
Parker's 4th birthday was on August 15th. Jason took the day off work so that we could play all day! First Parker opened his presents from us, and then around 11:30 am we left to go to Chuck E. Cheese's in SLC. Parker loves that place! We had lots of fun playing games, eating pizza, and opening presents from Nana and Missi. After lunch, we went up to Park City to go on the Alpine Slides and the Alpine Coaster. It was so much fun! The boys both loved it, and were sad that we only did each one once. We told them that next time they could pay, and then we could go as many times as they wanted! After Park City we drove back down to Layton and went to dinner at (you guessed it) Olive Garden, our family's favorite! Grandma and Grandpa Tensmeyer met us there and we had a great day!

Parker dude, I can't believe that you are four already. You are such a bright spot in my life. You have such a sweet personality, and I am so blessed to be your mommy. I know that Heavenly Father sent you to me for a very special reason, and thank Him every day that He did. You are my sweet little man, and I hope you always know how much I love you. Happy Birthday, Spark!
Parker had a great time demolishing his cake with the trucks! What a mess!
The Castle Park
The other day the boys wanted to go to the "castle park". It's a cool little park in Fruit Heights. They had a blast, and Abbey just loved the swings!

Macaroni & Cheese!
About a week ago Abbey had her first bowl of Macaroni & Cheese! She LOVED it! Yum yum! She is getting to be so big. It's fun to watch all of her little firsts. Pretty soon here she'll be sinking her teeth into a big, juicy steak~

The 24th of July
I know, I'm horrible, but I am going to catch up on my blogging from the 24th of July! We have been so busy around here doing nothing! :) The 24th we had fireworks at my parent's house with Jason's mom and sister. Payton was in Lake Powell with my mom and dad, so it was just a small group. Once again, Abbey loved the fireworks, and Parker loved helping daddy pick out which ones to do next! We had a great day.

Bathing Beauty
The other day we were at my friend Sue's house for a play date. I was telling her how I did not have a bikini for Abbey, and so I had never seen her in one. We were laughing imagining how cute she would look in one, so Sue went and grabbed one of her little girl's swimsuits and we tried it on Abbey! We were laughing so hard! She posed for the photo shoot like a true swimsuit model. I couldn't stop taking pictures, so here are a few that made me laugh.....
Las Vegas
We recently took our annual trip to Las Vegas to see Jason's grandparents. We went with Jason's mom, Sheri, and his sister, Missi. On the way down we stopped at the St. George temple and took a look at the visitor's center there.
Once we got to Vegas, it was pretty much non-stop swimming! It was hot hot hot, so we stayed in the pool the majority of the time. It was a nice, relaxing little break from the crazyness we've had lately!

Payton is such a little daredevil! He was doing front flips off the diving board, and then soon he saw Jason doing back flips into the pool, and of coarse, he HAD to try it too! He was awesome! Crazy kid was doing tons of front and back flips into the water. Let's just say he doesn't get his courage from his mother. There was one incident when he did a flip off of the diving board and he hit the back of his head on the board on the way down. OUCH. He got out of the pool for a bit, but soon was feeling better and doing flips once again!
